1. Let us give God thanks for the following:

• Let us thank God for the 2007 Leadership Summit. The summit received a very good student turn up and national representation of C.U’s. Over 200 people attended and received the challenge on servant leadership.
• Thank God for Maureen and Arnold who got married on November 10th 2007 Pray that God blesses their marriage. Maureen is our Staff worker at the Head Office front desk and it’s a joy to see her join the marriage institution.
• Let us also give thanks to God for the Young timers get together that took place on November 11, 2007. Please pray for the family of Dr. & Mrs. Turitwenka that the Lord may continue to bless them.
  

2. Pray for the FOCUS Mulago Child Project:

• We need sponsorship for 80 (eighty) children. It costs an annual amount of 450,000/= (250 USD) Pray for donors who are currently not sending support, but have expressed the interest to do so that the Lord may provide and also pray for more donors to fill the sponsorship capacity.
• Pray for children whose parents are terminally ill. There are 17 (seventeen) ill parents altogether.
• Please pray for personal spiritual growth for the staff in the Child Project and for God’s guidance, grace and wisdom.
  

3. Pray for Ministry work:

• Please pray for finances for staff salaries before the year ends. We need a total of 20,350,000= (11,563 USD) towards staff salaries before the year ends of which 8,580,000= (5.362.5 USD) covers November & December 2007 while the balance is accumulated arrears. The exchange rate used here is 1600 and we have a total of 23 full time staff nationally.
• Pray for student’s protection as they break off for the festive holidays and that the Lord will also safely return them to their institutions and universities thereafter.

Prayer page 10 is finally here. We do apologise for the long silence. Kindly join us in giving thanks and interceding, and do give us feed back.

Give Thanks

· For successful 35 years celebration events. We had a Grand Reunion, Corporate Dinner, Sweet hearts dinner, Old timers fellowships and church visits in Kampala, and church visits and conferences in the regions. These events did create quite a bit of awareness about FOCUS ministry. And some people recommitted themselves to being involved in the ministry.

· For all the people who were involved in making the events a success, the Associates, staff and students.

· A successful missions week at Mbarara University last month in which 10 students gave their lives to Christ.

· For Baby boys this month born to; Staff worker Sam Opolot and his wife Alice, Associates Godfrey and Dorothy Watendwa, and Charles and Rose Sokile.

Intercede For

· The upcoming leadership summit. 2nd – 4th November 2007 –Next Week!!

• We praise God for this wonderful opportunity that staff, and many students come together to learn from God’s word on leadership.
• Pray that all the students will be challenged, refreshed, inspired and encouraged by God’s word.

· The speakers doing expositions and workshops(Expositions will be from the book of Nehemiah, and the theme; Solid leadership)

· Financial provision

• to run the conference. We need U shs. 6,5920,000= (US$ 3,821)
• for students to be able to raise money for transport . 250 students are being planned for.

· The families of the late Margaret Nakayizi, Hellen Betty Ogwang, and Jacob Kwoba associates who passed away in the last month.
